We are very happy to announce that Kaamos has been selected as one of the three most prominent nominees for the Family Enterprise of the Year 2021 award from nearly 20 candidates.
Kaamos competes for the title of the best family business with well-known and successful companies such as Nõo Meat Factory and the fuel company Tartu Terminal.
The Family Enterprise of the Year award is aimed at recognising businesses where family members from different generations are involved in the management of the business.
According to Peeter Raudsepp, Chairman of the Management Board of Enterprise Estonia, the interest in participating in the competition was very high among businesses. “Entrepreneurs have realized that getting nominated for, not to mention becoming the winner of the highest national level entrepreneurship competition will help them present themselves in foreign markets – a good example here being the last year’s winner Nortal. Enterprises that are successful in the competition are those that responded quickly and decisively to the changed business environment in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, by using innovation, and those that have a global reach,” explained Mr. Raudsepp.
The best enterprises, including the Family Enterprise of the Year 2021, will be announced at the award ceremony “Best Estonian Enterprises 2021” on the evening of October 7. The ceremony will be broadcast live on ETV.
The Entrepreneurship Award is the highest state recognition entrepreneurs can receive, as well as the entrepreneurship contest with the longest history in Estonia.
