Priit Uustulnd who has managed Kaamos Kinnisvara AS ever since its foundation is leaving the position of the company’s CEO, handing the management over to Taimo Murer.

“Having managed Kaamos Kinnisvara for more than 18 years, I felt that it was time to move on, look for new challenges and pass on the baton. I feel that the moment for change is right,” Priit Uustulnd commented on the decision to leave, adding that it was a long-considered and transparent decision of which he had informed the owners, management board and partners of the company more than ten months ago to ensure a smooth transition of the company and finding a new CEO.

“The journey at Kaamos has been exciting, full of challenges and has allowed me to develop in every way.  In 18 years we have, together with an excellent team, built Kaamos Kinnisvara into one of the most powerful real estate companies based on Estonian capital and thus gained invaluable experience,” Uustulnd said.

He added that today, Kaamos has developed real estate in Georgia, Finland and is currently actively doing so not only in Estonia but also in Latvia. “The real estate portfolio has grown to 80,000 m2, and more than one thousand new apartments have been handed over to customers. Kaamos is a strong and contemporary large Estonian enterprise,” Uustulnd emphasised.

Uustulnd said about his future plans that no new choices have been made, first he would like to take some time off and dedicate it to resting and on his family.

Taimo Murer, the new head of Kaamos Kinnisvara, has long-term experience in the construction sector. For the last 5 years, he managed Maru Ehitus and has previously worked in Trev2 Group and Skanska.

According to Murer, he was motivated to join Kaamos Kinnisvara by the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a company with a functioning and strong portfolio.

“The common aim for me and Kaamos Kinnisvara is to continue meeting strategic goals. Kaamos is capitalised well and the team here is capable – that’s a strong foundation for us to increase the value of the company together even further,” Murer said.

The rapid development of the company must continue, and this challenge is sure to motivate, the new manager added.

Taimo Murer will start working as the CEO of Kaamos Kinnisvara from 14 June.
