At the end of 2015, Kaamos Real Estate commenced sale of the next three buildings in Hõbemetsa residential district. The new apartment buildings are part of the private and green residential area which is planned to accommodate a total of 16 apartment buildings, children’s playgrounds, and a kindergarten.

Kaamos Kinnisvara AS Development Manager Ivar Vahter says that three buildings housing 20 apartments each will be built simultaneously during stage II. Today, half of the apartments in the new buildings have been sold, and the buildings are planned to be complete by the end of 2016.

“The residential district already accommodates two apartment buildings in which more than 50 families have found a new home. People appreciate the low-rise buildings, secluded surroundings, and the buildings’ energy efficiency class B. In addition, instead of the normal two-year construction warranty, we offer a three-year warranty to new apartment owners, providing clients with increased confidence in our construction quality,” says Vahter.

Stage II sales have gone very well. “Next to the natural living environment in Hõbemetsa, other significantly favorable sales points have included the balcony and storage room in each apartment, convenient parking, and spacious elevators planned for the buildings,” adds Vahter.

The spring of 2015 saw the completion of an impressive boulevard with greenways and street lighting, new trees lining the street, and a bus stop that will service the residential district in the future. Children’s playgrounds will be built next to all of the buildings, and a kindergarten is also planned for the district. Hõbemetsa is planned to house a total of 16 apartment buildings and 450 apartments. Investments amount to approximately 35 million euros.

The area’s architects Irina Raud and Aigar Roht place premium value in Hõbemetsa’s natural and private living environment. They see Hõbemetsa as a small residential district which prescribes to a Nordic feeling, and contrary to the conventional is situated amongst tall pine trees on an uneven and exciting landscape.

The apartment buildings in Hõbemetsa residential district, situated on 10 hectares of pinewoods covered area, are separated by lush tall trees and surrounded by a tranquil park and footpaths. “We designed the area so that it would not be filled only with homes but also with ways to spend leisure time both for children and older people,” explains Raud, remarking that greenery occupies 50–60% of each plot.

The residential district is bordered by the greenway connecting Nõmme and Haabersti city districts, thus boasting ideal opportunities to walk, ride a bike in the summer, or ski in the winter. Regardless of Hõbemetsa’s private location and happy reclusion, all of the amenities one might need are close by – stores, restaurants, public transport, Mustamäe Keskus shopping center, Nõmme Sports Center, Nõmme-Harku health trails, Glehn Castle, Nõmme market, and numerous other fascinating venues.
